One of my co-workers had this buck on camera since late summer and has been hunting him hard without ever seeing him. Well the last week he has disappeared. A friend of his was showed this pic and he knew the deer was the deer he had been after. Collin County is bow only and then they posted it was shot from the house. Sure is questionable and I was just told that the deer was shot with a rifle and charges have been filed. Once again I would not swear all of it to be true but thought I would share. Chime is if you know any different.

lol thats true. I would not know the first thing about facebook. The forum here is about the only thing I know how to operate and that is questionable.

First I've heard of it.
Not that I hear a lot though.

I have no idea if the deer was harvested legally or not, but I do know that that is one hell of a buck.

About a mile East of Farmersville, in Hunt County..
Several folks have Farmersville addresses, but live in Hunt County.

These pics were taken nowhere close to the hunt county line. They are well up into Collin County.

Stud deer. Sucks that he may have been taken by illegal means.

Shot buy rifle is only speculation, right?
Would be stupid to take an illegally shot deer to a processor.
That's why that fella up in the Bonham area that recently
shot a stud of a buck called the game warden first thing.
To verify it was legally taken, trying to avaoid all the rumors and
speculation that always seems to take place when a real trophy buck is taken.
Oh the trophy envy world we live in. cry wink

At any given spot East of 78, you're no more than 10 or 12 miles from Hunt County.. Look at a map, 78 (which Farmersville sits East of), is on the Eastern side of Collin County. I'm not saying this deer was shot in Hunt County. But to assume that the person must shot it illegally, is a bit presumptuous.

I used to live in Merit. It has Farmersville address' you can run 5 miles up past Bland High school still rural everything and Farmersville address. In a general area Farmersville is probably claimed at least the size of Plano.
