I know that he is young, but do you think that this is genetic or is it a result of an injury? I saw him yesterday for the first time in person, and these pictures don't do him justice as to how wide he really is. If it is genetics, would you let him grow and see if he turns into a nontypical freak, or do you remove him now?

I'd most definitely let him go.

He could definitely turn into some type of non-typical, but you've got to give him a few years to see if that happens. Of course, he may not turn out that way, the only way to know is to wait.

I would give him a free ride to see how he develops. He is young and I like the non-typical racks as a change of pace from the typicals. You never know which one will develop into one that you can't pass up next year.

I'm in the same boat as you. He's not as ugly but he's not gonna get shot (really due to ar's). Hoping it was just an injury and he returns to normal next year!
