Have a compact M77 in 300 rcm looking to add a brake anyone with experience on this would like to keep the front sight

I think you can just move the site back, heat it and just thread the end and put your brake on.

They make a epoxy glue that is damn strong, I have some in my shop, when I get in I will get the name for you, we have put dangerous game rifle sights and barrel bands with it...works like a charm.

Andrew at Atwell Tactical in Richardson. He's threaded about 8 barrels for me and does an amazing job. His work is very clean. He does all sorts of gunsmithing work, I bet he could do it. He works out of a shop attached to his house.
