I don't know why I waited so long. I got my back tires to my Gator full of thorns. I finally got tired of sliming and plugging. I was surprised at how cheap they were. I was looking for Kevlar but could not find them. I went from the factory 2 ply tires to a 6 ply tire. They were only $96 each at Discount Tires.

I went with 8 ply myself.

I had to take what was available for my Gator. They had to order them. They have my wheels. They'll be difficult to get back on the vehicle. They were on there with lug bolts screwed into the wheels, rather than sticking out of the rims.
I'm going with 14 PSI.

We put some Surefoot Essex tires on the Kubota rtv and we haven't had any issues with them at all. Not sure on the ply rating, but they have sidewalls as thick as my E rated tires on my truck. Supposedly they are shotgun proof, and we have had zero flats running over cactus and mesquite thorns.
