Has anyone tried the orange corn? (Link below) It is made in a town nearby our place so I gave it a try. It has worked just great and the deer gobble it right down just like the apple scented. I was just curious if anyone else has tried. Thanks

I may be pessimistic with this statement, but orange corn sounds like just another gimmick to sell to the hunters willing to try anything to get that big buck. Yellow corn works just fine for me.

Maybe they're targeting duck hunters...

No, I think it deer hunters they are after. Here's some of the wording on their website as to what they produce.
Orange Flavored Deer Corn, Orange Scented Deer Corn. Hey, if you think it works, then by all means give it a try.

Our deer dont seem to have a problem gobbling down plain old corn. I cant imagine they would eat it any faster.

Deer like fruits and vegetables, I can't see why they would scarf up citrus fruit flavor corn, but I wouldn't spend any extra on it.

It works great on axis. We use it in our feeders that we have at our drop nets. I am always pessimistic about flavored feeds. But it does work on axis. That's just my 2 cents

It is actually cheaper than regular corn. That is why I gave it a try. I need to test this out further though. My dad thinks the turkeys come to this more often than the regular but who knows?

If it's cheaper.. then what the heck. I'd try it as well. But IMO, Corn is corn.

I've tried apple scented corn and it works like a charm. If it costs less than regular corn, I'm in.

My take on it is I will not buy anymore. Everywhere it is sold it runs $2.00 to $2.50 more a bag than regular or apple scented corn. I bought 2 bags to see what my deer thought of it and used it for chumming only. Deer eat it and then walk under the feeder and eat the regular corn at the same rate so I cannot justify the higher price.

I'm paying 6.50 for regular and the orange is 8.50 to 8.75 for a 50lb sack.

if it works as well as advertised, I'm tearing down my feeder and planting orange trees. Now, honestly, I hope it works and I hope these Texas guys make a fortune selling it. Better them than BuckMasters, etc.
