Not sure if this is normal or not, every time I come to the ranch I drop a 50lb bag of corn on my shooting lane. I also have 4 feeders set up. On the next day I come there is no more corn to be found. Haven't seen hogs on the trail cams. Is it normal for so much corn to disappear?

lots of animals eat corn - birds (all kinds), coons, hog, deer, turkey, quail, and the list goes on. you are likely putting the corn in a high traffic area for multiple animals and that is why it is gone in a day.
setup a trail cam and see what is going on

Set up a TC on the shooting lane. You probably have hogs if it is eaten that quickly.

I've fenced off my feeder and so far the deer have not jumped the fence. It's only three feet tall, so it's not going to be a problem for them once they figure it out. The hogs where terrible, so I need to keep them out. The birds, squirrels and raccoons are eating most of what's on the ground. I have my timer set for just a few seconds because all I'm doing is feeding the other animals. It's nowhere near 50 pounds a night. My guess is that you have hogs eating that much corn.

A flock of dove or a covey of quail can do work on some corn in only a few hours... Thats my guess

is it power corn? you could be bringing in WAY more deer than you thought you had...
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

Buy a few cheap IR game cams and put along corn trail (get these for ~ $40 after discount: http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/pr...ra&i=823639 ) I did exactly this, and filmed a HUGE buck eating corn trail all night long (he NEVER went near the feeder or other trail-cams - never showed on them).

If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

I'm going to go with javelina for the win. They usually run in a group. If there is one there's bound to be more, and they will stay for a couple of hrs or until all corn is gone. They are so bad at our place that I have my timed feeder funnel into some pvc drain pipe to keep the corn off the ground. Either that or you have hogs. Is the ground all turned over?

I've got several series of TC pics that show coyotes setting up shop under one of my feeders eating corn.

I watched a fox eat corn last week for 30 mins under my feeder. Porquipines are a nemisis of mine to. There has to be some game eating all that corn. 50#s is a lot. However a few deer can come in at nite and eat a lot in a short time. I have a couple feeders that go off at midnite for axis deer and hog hunting. Sometimes just one doe comes in and stays the nite there eating corn. Be glad u have corn disappearing and not growing in the ground. A big problem this season I here across tx.

if you have a raccoon problem that could be it. 10-12 raccoons can clean up a bag of corn in no time... and other birds and varmints will do it also.. Dang Raccoons
