An hour before sunset yesterday we got out for some flying. Managed to pick off a drake ringneck. Now that the bird is really getting in shape and hitting a groove these divers on a cattle tank aren't really challenging. The last four times I've flown the falcon he's caught a duck. I'm not complaining though. Any day you put game in the bag and get your bird back is a great day.

On a side note, getting a five year old, two adults, a bird dog, and a falcon to all look semi-decent in a photo is impossible. I also tossed in a photo of my girlfriend right after we got done flying her Harris's Hawk.

You should shoot some video next time out, I'd love to see that falcon in action.
