Got a nice north wind this morning and a near full moon last night. Nothing going on this morning so far. It is always slow in the morning when the moon is so bright all night. As I am typing I see a young 6 point just came in to the feeder. Good luck out there.

I see a huge hog to the north on the other property about 350 yards, I do not think he is coming this way.

It was a bright moon, but it got real overcast overnight, at least here in Wise CO.

2 doe just crossed in front of me and walked towards my sons bow hunting area. I gave him a heads up text and sure enough the deer walked thru his area in bow range but he did not shoot because he was unsure of the distance. He is 18 years old and has been bow hunting this year to get his first bow harvest. Need to get a new battery for that range finder ugh!!

Yeap the range finder really helps the bow hunter. Good luck to you both.

Yes Sir! Those batteries are only a couple of "bucks" grin I use small strips of flagging back in the day, don't even recall there being any affordable range finders in the 80's LOL

That is a good idea, he can mark off his distance with sticks for this weekend. It is time to head to camp for now and cook up some breakfast.
