If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

3yr old on top and wouldn't argue with 4 on the middle buck. You got any more pics of the last two?

This is Duval County, near Palito Blanco.

Disappointing amount of bone given the age and location of those bucks.

We been there for 5 years, and we always let these bucks walk. These pictures are from different past years. The only one from this season is the first one. We have yet to see any of these bucks from one year to the next. I truly believe that they are being killed in neighboring properties. We only have 96 acres, surrounded by a couple of 1,000 acre ranches, and a 200 acre property.

Should we keep letting them walk?

I was after that 8 about 3 seasons ago, but he never showed himself. I doubt he's still around.

I think I'm going to start quail hunting this weekend. That's all I've been seeing.

Yeah, I know, but I'm just frustrated because we haven't been seeing any of the doe for a month now. And all five of our cameras haven't been taking any pics.

You said yal have 2 1000 acre neighbors and a 200 acre neighbor. Are they all low fence?

How many deer a year do yal shoot in the past 5 years? How many stands/feeders do you have? Do you feed year round or just during the season? Are you throwing corn on timed feeders or is it mostly free choice feeders? I have seen some pretty crazy overhunted places in Duval Co, like where you cans see 8 deer blinds from yours all within a couple hundred yards of each other.

We feed year-round, and we have a 100 gallon water trough at each feeder in addition to other troughs. We don't have them penned, but the weird part is that even the pigs aren't coming out on the cameras anymore. The corn is disappearing though.

Been the same here man... The week I killed my buck I had sat for four strait days without seeing a single deer... only been getting a few pics also. Its just been way to good of a year for the deer and still very mild... its only gotten cold enough once to make the deer move... and it was just a short time period... let it get cold for a weeks time and then have a serious cold snap and you will see your deer... that's if it happens.. dam squirrels better not be wrong I got a lot riding on them.

We are not too far from you in Duval Co. We haven't been seeing hogs this year either. In years past we would have shot a dozen or so by this point in the season. So far this year we have only shot 1 hog.

Have you tried moving the trail cams away from feeders? like to an edge, trail, or even find you an area with a bunch of rubs... you still got time to get that done in your area... go scout during mid day and find deer sign.. the best is yet to come.. that's why id love to have a place down there... when my deer start slowing down and staying in the woods its just starting to get prime time in STx.

We have only shot one hog too. We haven't tried hunting the hogs at night though. And I hope you're right Navasot. I just watch too many of those damn deer shows, and I wish it could be like that. lol

Always take GC with a grain of salt. This time of year immature Bucks dominate the feeders keeping does ran off.

Also I've got a bunch of bucks that I never have seen in a feeder pen. I've seen them paired up with a doe and just sit out side the feeder pen trying to kill any thing that gets close to her.

Keep the faith up

Bad thing about a hunting show is they can put a whole seasons worth of hunting into 30 minutes and show a deer get killed.. lol
