What does this group tell y'all I may have it backwards but can't remember isn't it when you string Right to Left jump powder up .2g or is it to jump the Ogive up or down. Playing with these bergers with my 6.5-284 and they are picky suckers but I'm going to figure then out. Think I can get it tighter, may just have to swap over to the Amax and play with them, the one on the far right is the 4th I may have pulled it a hair..Thanks

A - good group.

B - try 2 tenths below your powder charge and 2 tenths above. See if you can tighten it any by finding a particular node.

Work with one variable at a time. If mag length allows VLDs like to be kissing the lands. If not there is some good information on Bergers site about getting them to shoot well and has been posted here in the past. I would try what JDK said see what that gets you. Most of the time I set length by what will function well through the magazine and work the powder charge to find an accuracy node, then if looking a little better vary the seating depth still making sure it functions well through the mag.

How's your trigger control? Usually horizontal stringing is bad trigger control.

On a Berger find the best powder charge even with the lands. Then of you want to keep messing with it shoot for groups in jumps.

.030"

That's 30 bullets to spend, though.
