And that's exactly what happened last night, right off the bat on the first pasture I spotted 15+ hogs but they busted me before I could get in for the stalk and I picked one off at 151 yards it's the smallest one to the right. On my way back to the quad a boar came out in the same pasture and I shot him in the "face" at 115 yards the brown one with the eye escaping from the skull! I felt like this was going to be a good night so I checked out a few other spots and spotted 5 pigs and one boar on my side of the fence so I put a stalk on him and gave him 180gr core-lokt to the "face" at 70 yards he's the 3rd one to the right. My night was pretty much done I dragged that boar back for pics and went to my car for my phone and on the way back down where I spotted the second boar another one came out, but he knew something wasn't right and was on the move. I ended up catching up to him 10min later and I made sure I stayed downwind but he locked up and heard my foot steps in the leaves, I had a tree line separating us and the shot was iffy but I did it anyway I drilled him free handed at 100 yards in the shoulder he ran and I hit him again in the gut and finally my third shot caught him in the chin and he rolled to his "death". The .308 AKA Pork-Chop is getting the job down with some accuracy, I can't wait to get a bigger scope on it hopefully this weekend I can get one on it.
