This is a compilation of some good video of a ranch I filmed with my drone. I was able to get some shots of deer at the feeders and even a gator in a pond!

Be sure to watch it in HD!

I had a couple hours of footage, but the land owner asked me not to share anything publicly that would give away the location his property (he doesn't want poachers, etc.), so I omitted the higher altitude shots. I was able to get a lot of awesome footage of this ranch!

I have the DJI Phantom 2 with several upgrades. The video was shot with a GoPro camera.

I've had it about a half mile, but it can go over a mile. I turned it around because I was losing the video signal to my monitor showing the camera's view. It'll fly for about 15 minutes on 1 battery, so that limits you too.

Is the actual go pro mounted on a remote control pivot system or is it just a matter of turning the actual drone?

The camera is mounted on a motorized gimbal to stabilize it, but this model doesn't have a rotating camera, so you have to rotate the drone. It takes a bit of practice (and good editing software) to have it turn out smooth.
