I hunt public land. Cooper, OSB Caddo and just started hunting the Corps land around Lake Lavon. I don't have a feeder or a stand set up. I carry in a pop up or just walk and stalk. I try and go about 1-2 times a month ( I have 3 small kids at home ) as time allows. I am about 40 miles from the Corps land. you can night hunt on the Corps land but it is Shotgun only north of 380. Should double check corp lands rules. I hunt corp land at lake Whitney and there is no hunting of any kind at night allowed. Good luck.

I checked. Hunting at Lavon is 24 hours. The GW and the Ranger said that's when I should go out.
