It's shortened 6.5x47 (6.5 Creedmoor also works) case. 2750 - 2800 FPS off of a 130gr 270 bullet through an AR15. Uses modified Grendel or 6.8 SPC mags. http://www.ar15performance.com/inc/sdetail/11562/14405 SIX5, 6.8, Grendel. 270AR, 6.5x47

Curious about the pressures and how a standard AR-15 upper will hold up over time. I do, however like the idea.

How much of a difference between it & a 6.8?
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

How much of a difference between it & a 6.8? About 200 fps and can hold a little larger .270 bullet.
