 Remington 700 SPS vs Long Range

I've been looking at a new rifle in 300wm and I can't find anything comparing the Remington 700 long range and the regular sps. Does anyone have experience with both? Is the long range version worth the extra money?

The stock and a heavy barrel are the only differences.

I'd go heavy barrel over a thinner barrel for the 300 WM.

Thanks for the help. I'm still not sure which one I'm gonna go with but I've got a SWFA 3-15 waiting to go on it
