Does anybody know the exact specs on the varmint barrel? I bought a stock inletted for this barrel. So I need a barrel now and I can't find the dimensions. Not sure if the remington varnint or sendero is the same. I know a Douglas 5 is close I think

I've got the same SS 22-250 and will measure tomorrow if you like. My gut feel is it is very close or the same as a Remington Varmint in diameter but a bit shorter. You can certainly borrow mine to check but will cost you a beer.

Since you live 1/4 mile away what kind of beer you want I don't even know what im measuring, but since I found the stock in stock I sure would like to be able to get away with a barrel in stock.

What kind of stock did you get? I have a tikka CTR and would like to find a stock for.

I was cruising Mcmillans retail and clicked under the sale tab and found a McMillan thumbhole ready to go for a t3. It's inletted for a factory varmint and in a color scheme I liked.
I guess the worst thing is it's also inletted for the tikka plastic bottom metal but that doesn't bother me to much. I might be able to inlet for other bottom metal but. I don't even know what caliber I want , but probably something in 6mm so I can have a bolt varmint gun again.

McMillan is staring to keep more stocks in stock from what I learned
