Tomorrow I'm going out but the Winds are suppose to be from the SSW at 17mph ..

My blind i recently got now is facing the N.

I figure they should take this wind to there Advantage but, I could be wrong .. I'm also using bow. Might be the death of me lol

How does everyone hunt the wind and what's your take on high winds.

Seventeen doesn't sound too bad. But yeah, bad direction for you. I hunt different stands according to the wind direction.

Ive been in the blind since 5:30, still here, and the wind feels like its going to blow my roof off!

Haven't seen so much as a rabbit this morning. I'm thinking with the winds, I picked the wrong weekend. Maybe I will still get lucky.

They will be nervous since they loose a great bit of there defenses (hearing and movement). I would hunt in as close to thicker cover as possible, maybe even sit downwind or cross wind of a game trail that gets used.

Winds are gusting here to 25, but sustained 15-20.

Western said it well. Except at the peak of the rut, when the bucks are completely unthinking, wind lowers deer movement. But in the late afternoon, if the wind dies down, it could get interesting.
