Serial number 220847 32-20 calibers shows to be made in 1886 . I would rate it in fair condition and was told it was in firing order.

I see them with price tags from about $1200 up to $2200 at the gun shows, Cabelas gun library, etc.

Personally, if you wanted to actually sell it within a reasonable period of time I am thinking you put the $1200 price on it and see what kind of offers you get. I'm guessing it would go for $800-1000. Condition is everything and, while that is a cool and iconic rifle, it is not in good condition.

32-20 makes it worth a bit more than a 44-40 or 38-40. If it locks up tight and has all the parts it came with $2000-2400 would be a good price, $2500-3000 if you find the right buyer.

Condition doesn't matter as much as originality. If the wood is original and the sights are original that will determine the price.
