Bought my son a cricket for Christmas and it was one of those deals to good to pass up. Problem is it is pink. What's the easiest way to camo it? Have two daughters that will eventually use it but I don't think my son is gonna be to happy about pink.

You could probably sand it down past the pink, then stain and truoil it. Or just paint over it.

Pretty sure it's just plastic. Picking it up this weekend so I'll know for sure then.

Oh, if that's the case, just rough it up a little with sand paper, paint it with a couple coats of paint, then spray it with a couple layers of matte clear coat.

Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I'd get it dipped but for a $60 gun that's hard to justify

Just hand it to him as is. If he balks then thats a good sign and then make it a father-son project. If he likes it as is, go ahead and give the gun to your daughters and sign him up for dance lessons or gymnastics.

Rattle Can camo it. There are lots of demo's on YouTube. Make it a father and son project. It's easy and the sky's the limit on the color combinations.

Buy a roll of camo duct tape. If he enjoys shooting then in couple of years get him a better gun and remove the tape for the girls.
