I hunt in burnet county and feeder activity just isnt happening! All pics show some coming in at night and last week had 4 doe starting to come in right at dusk and even saw them once during an evening hunt and now after the rains this past weekend seems its back to 0 again. Anyone else experiencing this also or thoughts on why

they still have plenty of food with clover, acorns, etc. I would think the acorns would be getting towards the end and need a good hard freeze to stifle the clover.
I have a place south of Bertram (Burnet County) and only have a few young ones coming to corn so far. Another place is in Llano county and again, young ones and a few does coming to feeders so far. I have only seen a couple of younger buck even pay any attention to corn so far.

In San Saba we have feeder activity. I would think you should see a pick-up in activity as the colder weather starts to roll in. Just for fun, when did you start putting corn out?

Great feeder activity till the end of September then ghost town. Been hunting same area for five years now, never happened before like this. Minimal night activity too. Few game cam pics. They do move which I have seen sitting in a rifle stand where I can see 100 to 300 yards, just not going to feeders at all.

Were in brown co near grosvenor..we feed year round. Minimal feeder activity, trails are better on our place now.. Checked 2 trail cams today and had alot more activity than feeder cams.. hogs have all but disappeared.. only seen one decent or even legal buck lately on camera.. all feeders are piling up corn with timer set on 1 sec twice daily.

Where abouts pmk? I am in between liberty hill and bertram by the pipe place down FM 1174 in the Oatmeal area. I have maintained feeders on the place for the past 15 years, year around, my dad did similar dating back to the mid 1970s while he was still alive.

I am in mesquite country no acorns, but deer are still not hitting feeders like they have in past years. The browse was bit pretty hard by frost, figured that would help, but not so much.

I was seeing a lot of activity in my feed pens till it rained the first week of November and again last weekend. Over 4" now for the month and winter weeds are everywhere. Deer have slowed down in the pens on protein but still eating all the corn up.

Finally getting a little action at my feeder with cell cam on it this week. Had a buck this am I legal hours and a buck this eve and three doe followed him. Has been absent for nearly three weeks and then this week they started trickling in...hoping there are more deer hitting my other feeder but won't know until this weekend.

Nothing at our feeders in Harrison county. Between 4 feeders we only have 336 pictures since late August. This time last year we had over 2000. We hunted 4 days this past weekend, 1 buck was seen and killed by my dad, that was the only deer seen the entire weekend. I guess the weather just wasn't right

The first two weeks of the season I had very few deer at my feeders and not many night photos either. Things have picked up since the third weekend, though. Still not a ton of activity but definitely better. When we get another good cold front with a few days of lows below freezing, I think that should improve things significantly and it'll probably stay that way through the end of the season.

In North Brown County, both does & bucks were hitting corn feeders daily in Sept, but only occasional during day or nite in Oct & Nov. I started sitting up on game trails and seen much more activity than at feeders. All the Oak trees are loaded with acorns and many wheat fields in area to keep them busy at nite.
