I have one and don't have a hayfield or have mine set in a field. Mine is a Midwest Haybale blind. I hunted out of it when I killed my buck with a crossbow this year. If the ranch you hunt on or a neighbor feeds round bales then deer will be used to haybale sitting around.

I have used cattle panels and hay to get similar, but not as "purdy" results.
