I have been looking at the rage 3 blade broad head. Has anybody had any experience with these broad heads on pigs, and if you have any other good mechanical broad heads to use on the pigs?

Seems to me that mechanicals wouldn't shine on a hog. That's just me

I have used grim reaper hog heads for years. 1 3/8 cut has killed tons of hogs for me. I don't think I would shoot those rage at hogs just because they cost so much and likely wouldn't hold up to multiple kills.

BMowatt did that deer still have milk on its lips? Lol

OP if you're looking for a broadhead for pigs I'd suggest a cheap one like schwacker $20-$30 and depending on the situation you may be able to use them multiple times. I've used NAP spitfires, schwackers, and slick trick magnums, all of which have done the job but the spitfire was done after one kill, and the schwacker was able to be used once more on a small pig, the slick trick impressed me it went right thru a fair sized pig quick easy 40 yard track and was still hair shaving sharp. I would think the rage would do the job but you would be using a Cadillac to do a farm truck job. Just my .02

I was just messing with you, that rage does do a number on a deer though

Cheap ones

BOBO is spot on...Personally, I prefer to use fixed blade heads on hogs...go buy a couple dozen cheap fixed blade heads (the cheaper the better) that you/your setup can shoot straight...hog carcasses have a tendency to destroy most any broad head you use (once and done affair) and besides you can't shoot just one hog while seriously hog hunting...oh yea, don't forget to use old arrow shafts as well...save your new ones for everything else...

The crossbow does look bigger than the deer.

Hmmm, must be a "magnum" sized crossbow, obviously too large for that deer...lol
