Looking to buy a can for the 223. Had friend give advice on the Specwar, buy extra adaptor for SKS or 308 and use same can for both. Is the Specwar advisable? Help, have NO knowledge in this area.

The Specwar will work. Quite a few 30 cal rifle cans that will also work. All depends on what features are most important to you in a can; weight, size, dB reduction, QD vs thread on, materials, magnum rated, etc.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Here again, not knowledgeable in this area. Noise reduction, weight, size, thread on - these to me would be the sequence of importance. Help me if I am wrong.

Go to Silencer Shop's website. They have videos and reviews of many cans.
