Anybody here hunted with Hunter Ross and Desert Safaris on a Mule Deer hunt? Looking for a review of the hunting and the company. Thanks for any info.

Ill be there in a few days going after Mule Deer and doing some filming. I know a lot of guys that have gone with him and all say he is a top notch guy and outfitter. Im really excited for the hunt.

I hunted with Hunter and helped him out on a few hunts as well. He is a good guy and has some of the best land available for both mule deer and aoudad. His main deer ranch between Ft.Stockton and Alpine is absolutely great. Around 100,000 acres that is protein fed. With lots of brushy flats and lots of elevation as well. I have not been on the ranch in about 6 years, but I can only imagine the deer have only gotten better. You will see lots of deer.
