Do those who run an SBR find it to get dirty quicker than a regular AR in 5.56? 10.5 barrel is what I'll be running.

Second question: Do you have any problems with blowback?

Thanks!

I have not noticed any problems with either more dirtiness or blowback. All good on my end. Shooting a DD MK18 upper, fwiw.

I get more blowback from my 16" 308 than my 8" 300 BO. Less length for the powder to burn equals more fouling.

No difference from my 16", 11.5" or 7.5" as far as blow back or build up. Running suppressed on any of them with make them dirty quick though

Haven't noticed any difference. Both the 16" and 8" 300 blackouts get dirty when suppressed.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

not the same caliber but my 300 blackout 8.2" isn't bad at all. Can't tell the difference between it and 16" Ars
