Watch how a Holland & Holland is made. It's almost 20 minutes long, but I couldn't stop watching. Fascinating!

That is a great video! Beautiful weapons. Got me to thinking so I got on their website, you're definitely paying for that craftsmanship. Could buy a house for what they want for a new double rifle.

I build guitars from scratch, and I don't even want to imagine the work that goes into hand fitting those stocks and inlays. I like how they were using soot from a candle flame to get their mating surfaces perfect. If I were wealthy enough, I'd buy one and book a trip to Africa.

68a, when h&h is concerned you are also paying for the name. There are a lot of independents or small germs that can make Holland quality guns for far less.
