Heading southbound on 2499 this am, nice, heavy buck hit and laying on side of the road, just after the turnoff to Rock Ledge park and before the Gerault flyover. Buddy saw him crossing the road 15 minutes before that, coming from the private pond south of Home Depot.
Bummer--but still exciting to see a decent buck in the area. I've always heard people talk about them, but I've only seen does.

i didnt think there were deer around lake grapevine
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

A buddy of mine saw a nice buck get hit. He pulled over and called the GW who came out to meet him. Helped him drag it off into the woods and ended up letting him keep the horns.
