Ditto on removing the head. The head can hit by muscle reflex.

5'5" 19 buttons Dead for over 24hrs? Not in the freezer, looks pretty fresh to me, taxidermist not gonna like that if he was out for 24 hrs. Looks a little warm too, hope you got em cold sooner than that, tend to turn pretty slimy on the inside if not
