Have made friends with the local butcher. Stopped in for a few items, walked by the meat market and he called out "Big Man,,,come here, I have something to show you". He had just received a new side of beef and had cut me a couple 2" thick ribeyes when he saw me walk in.

Going to try Pinks idea, rare for me, and throw it on the grill tonight. Got momma a thin cut New York strip.

After pics to follow.

And after, some ranch beans, veggies, and a glass of spirits.

Pinks recipe was olive oil, black pepper, and jalepenos for a marinade. I used a left over jar of sweet-hot jalapeños.
Tasted mighty fine!
