Irons if your eyes will let you.
Never looked right to me seeing a lever gun with a scope atop it. this, but I understand the eye thing.

Williams rear peep with a fiber front, poor mans red dot... Burris FastFire II on a Winchester 94, affordable red dot. Small, low profile, quick to acquire. and doesn't look ugly. Gets rid of the fuzzy iron sights problem also.
