Wood ducks is one of the best. Ringnecks or merganser are horrible!!

Canvasbacks, mallards, gadwall and teal are the favorites around our house. Everything but the mergansers get eaten.

I really havnt cooked a duck I didn't like... and the only one I havnt eaten is a coot.. ill just pass on that

iv also cooked a mess load of spoonies and jack right in with some mallard, wood duck and teal. and not one person could tell the difference... this was not with bacon and jalapenos either.. just grilled like a steak... I do favor puddlers and teal just for cleaning purposes but I don't discriminate
