I will gradually be posting pics from this dove season in this thread. The season started off a bit slower than usual but started to pick up as the season came to a close. 9-1-14 Had a couple of late notice additions to the opener this season. With fewer birds and more shooters it was a little out of the norm. First bird of the season...  Whipple with a bird...  Paxton with a collared dove...  These guys were abundant...   Had some sparring going on in the pond...   The girls cooling off...  The morning birds...

Headed back out in the evening to finish up. Paxton with a bird...  I whistle stopped Whipple on a retrieve as we were getting swarmed by birds...  The take...  The sunset...

Great shots of the dogs especially that first photo in your second post. Always great to get out with the dogs.
