Well after I took my biggest buck to date in Missouri October 31st I was headed back to the same pasture for gun season. Opening morning at 10:30 one of the deer that we had on camera showed up in a cut corn field. I shot him at 250 yards and dropped him. They had the bucks sheds from last year @ 2.5 years old and have watched him put on close to 70" in 1 year. The deer was 3.5 years old but I had been given the green light to take him. I felt a little guilty knowing what he could be next year but if you have ever rifle hunted in Missouri if a buck is out and on the move he is going to get shot. (I know this makes me as bad as them but since I was told by the landowner to shoot the deer if I saw him that helped a little). He had 17pts but had broke one off on the left beam to make him 16 scoreable pts. The score is close but I wouldnt swear it to be perfect as it was freezing outside when we measured him. Scored him at 175". Regardless of score I have had one heck of a season and these 2 are going to look good on the wall beside each other. Thanks for looking.
