I got one used at less than half the price of a new one. It's got good glass but the eye relief is horrible imo. I'd agree with Brother in-law. I wouldn't buy one for what they ask, now that I have one. I know why the guy sold it for less half price. I guess he figured thats what it's worth and I'd have to agree.

I haven't personally reviewed the Terras, but from what I hear, happy Conquest owners aren't rioting to make a change.

I have a 2x7 it's pretty good at the low end of the range but not as good at the top end of the range. It works for me because I tend to keep the scope at 2x hunting in MN. I've read that 6x is where the difference shows up.
