Interesting.

But I have a range finder and I don't trust the app's wind call.

I've checked out distances to various landmarks from my blind on my lease using Google Earth. The feeder's only about 80 yards away but I have a pretty good view of most of about 160 acres of wheat. Longest shot possible is 1200 yards, but I'm not about to try that. Good to have some kind of an idea about distances, but I'm not in for gizmos and technology over and above a good, well scoped rifle and good ammo. And a warm jacket.
