young squirrels and coon this late?

I am treeing alot of very young coon and squirrels. Anyone notice this there is agood food sorce of food did our cold winter we had last year cause them to have late babys?

There are always early and late babies. I saw plenty of young in the early spring and had a LOT of squirrels at my place this year. Raccoons have also been prolific. You may be seeing a second batch on the squirrels or you may be seeing squirrels born early having their first litter.
Keep in mind that there are a lot of things that will influence births including food, rain, predation pressure, temperatures, etc. Also keep in mind that there are always going to be some early and late births. That is part of nature's was of assuring that at least some of the generation will survive until next year.

Yes I have a mt.cur and some Black & Tan coonhounds

Oh nice what part of Texas you In ? I used to have coonhounds but now just have hog dogs an beagles , my buddy has a mt cur he has her started on squirrels but we looking for some body with grown dog to hunt her with a few times

don't know about the above, but found nest's of cotton tail's two weeks ago, should say my jack Russell found

ta THF yagh, them thar cooyns & squirrels gottas find some ways ta stays warm on dem dar cold winter nights. i done strunge up a tree with lights &music ta the tune of Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire . & we's gots babies all over
