What do you mean "not a big deer"? LOL. Believe it or not, it isn't always about that and that is a respectable buck and great 1st. I can promise you this, no matter what you take from now on, you will always remember that buck over all others  My 1st was a doe, if that would make you feel better  Great buck and welcome to THF! Well, I've looked around the forums and seen pics of really impressive bucks, and trying to be modest. Like I said, I'm very proud, couldn't be happier. Thanks for the welcome. That is true, but remember, some of them have been managed their herd for some time, some get luck on their side that day and some spend large amounts of cash. Many reasons for some of the deer posted here. "it's not a big D contest" for most of us, it is a package deal. I have killed allot of deer and it took me some time and "learn'n" to get a buck like yours Congrats again

AWESOME FIRST BUCK!! Mine was a little yearling 4 pt.. way before antler restrictions but hes still a trophy to me! Great first kill and here's to many more!

Wish I would of married into a hunting family that had deer like that on thier place. I was 37 yrs old when I killed my 1st deer, a doe. I was happy and proud as could be.
