Hey guys, throughout the years I've noticed some unusual but effective treestands at various hunting clubs. So I made a video about some of the funny ones I have used lol. What do yall think?!

What are some of the crazy stands yall have built for hunting?

20 years ago I had a lease near Graham. There was a huge old oak overlooking a creek bottom that I planned on hanging a tree stand. Once I climbed up it I found a big pocket in the center of the tree and had an epiphany. I lugged a piece of pipe and a couple bags of quickcrete up the tree and created a pedestal base, then bought a bass boat swivel seat, and presto... one comfy tree stand built. Added screw in steps up the front and I was hunting. At the end of the season, just pulled out the seat and put it in storage.

Was about 20 feet high. Great view, but in hindsight I'd look to add a safety strap or a place to hook a safety harness if I still had this lease.

Yeah maybe a safety harness would be good, and a shooting rail!
