Lots and lots of big Canadian's here in the panhandle of Nebraska. Many have also left south. I am hearing the geese hunting is getting good around Salina and Wichita Kansas. I will be heading down that way next week to follow the migration and get some ducks (other than Mallards, just tired of wearing them out). Here is a pic of my limit today.

The duck hunting before it freezes up is fantastic on public and plenty of area to hunt. After it freezes (after Thanksgiving)most places are draw only. If you go in the middle of the week, you have a good chance at the better goose pits (the area I hunt, they even supply a few dozen goose shells for you!). As of right now, it is 98% mallards and very few other ducks. You get tired of killing 5 mallards after a while....
