I just bought the .454 in the classifieds. Other than cleaning the chamber before shooting .454 what should I look out for before shooting 454 after .45. I do not know that I will ever shoot .454 since I have 2 45 colts already buy I would like to be aware of any potential issues. Will I have excessive lead build up on the forcing cone? Any help is appreciated.

Most loads will be 250gr hard cast RNFP at around 950 out of my 5.5" vaquero with nasty unique.

Edit: pistol in question.

If you shoot only .45 Colt you just need to clean the chamber really well before shooting the .454 Casull or you may have to deal with stuck cases or cartridge.
You will notice significant recoil from that bruiser .454 Casull, as it will get your attention after shooting the mild .45 Colt.
