Please tell me what you love/hate about it. Seriously considering one for CCW part time. Will be in a situation where having to use it would be almost zero but if I did have to use it there would be a great chance that it would be against someone using body armor ( no not a LEO ).

No experience with this pistol but would love to hear more about the situation where you might have to use it against someone with body armor.... grin

Awesome pistol. Round that are designed to penetrate body armor are hard to find.

The grip is a bit long since the bullet is long. It is easy to shoot just expensive to pull the trigger

If I was in a situation where I think I would have to worry about people with body armor, I would try to find a new situation

You know for those times when you stumble on to the new die hard set and have to fill in by shooting people with body armor.

The pistol itself is too big for me to ccw but you may be different. As far as the round it is interesting but I prefer the .22 TCM. The .22 tcm comes in a 1911 and has more velocity .

Didn't intend for it to sound so exciting lol. I did say that the chances of having to use it would be about zero. Probably should have said a " reasonable" chance instead of a "great" chance. This would be used in preparation against a church attack in the future. Terrorist groups are attacking Christians and churches more and more and we see it as just a matter of time before it starts happening in this country. After the U.S. withdraws from Afghanistan I think the terrorists will try hit schools and churches in this country. Think Beslan in Russia.

Yeah as I said my only heart ache with mine is the grip is long, so if you gave small hands it's a no go and they lack of ambi controls.

Other than that it's great, just 50 cents a trigger pull so 10 bucks s mag

Dad had one carried it iwb with a kholster for a while. Fun to shoot stupid accurate. you'll damn near never find the penetrators and personally I don't see it as more than a plinker.

I've had one for about 4 years now. Ammo is kinda hard to find so when I do, I stock up. It's getting more and more expensive. It is a full sized pistol in every way so it will be hard to conceal. I never carry it concealed, I bought a Kahr for that specific purpose. I really like the single action triger it has, very crisp and with the low recoil you can make some very fast and accurate follow up shots. I put a reflex sight on the back of mine and it's amazing how fast you can put knock steel down with it. I've gone hunting with it a few times as well. the 40 grain vmax (blue tips) are great for small game (I've killed several coons with it) and I imagine it would do well enough on medium game as well. If I'm not mistaken even the FMJ rounds aren't rated to penetrate body armor, and as someone said above the actual penetrator rounds are pretty well impossible to find unless you are LEO or military. Best thing for you to do is to try and find one to shoot. As Cleric said above, its far more important to find a pistol that you are comfortable shooting. You will be much more confident and therefore accurate when/if the time comes to use it. Hope this is what you were looking for if you had anything particular you wanted to know I'll help as much as I can.

Sounds like an awesome pistol to own, thanks for the help guys. For now I think I'll stick with my 250 Compact .45 because my extra weight ( 75 pounds )will make a full size pistol hard to conceal.

I have one and love it. I have been able to find rounds for it every time I have looked. I live in Dallas and it has never been a problem. It is a great shooting pistol and very accurate. They are hard to come by and if you find one they are asking top dollar for them. I picked mine up about a year and a half ago and got a steal on it.

AK pistol, metal core bullets, under a trench coat. Concealed, and it would get the job done.

Personally I would go with 9mm over 5.7mm for personal defense. There are a lot better choices in ammo. Also you have your pick of the litter when it comes to handguns.

I periodically carry my 57 IWB. I'm 6'1", 190 and you can't even tell I'm carrying it. It's lighter than my carry model 1911 and my Sig P245 acp's loaded. Only downside is the size. Still doesn't bother me carrying it though.

Just get an AR pistol, suppressor, and beta mag. Should be concealable.
