Im not to familiar with different types of Marsh grasses and weeds or wetlands management, our place has taken care of itself for years but ever since the 2010-2011 drought this weed has taken over. This is a bad pic but I will get more this weekend. It is choking out whole swamp which is 30 acres. So thick you cant even walk through it. Any advice as to what kind it is or how to spray/burn/cut would be great! its the thin weeds on bottom with white flowers. Like i said ill get some more pics of it this weekend

If it's as much as 30 acres, I'd look at a mixture of disking and spraying.
If you can control the water level, sometimes just a good shredding before flooding is nice.

We have our ponds on a 3 year cycle. We burn and disk every 3 years or if we get a large growth of woody vegetation. You want the annual grasses, these produce the most seeds. Try to get some closer photo's of the stems and flowers. That will make identification easy. If you have a water control structure I would start draining right after the season. Try to dry it out enough to get a good burn around March-April. If you get a good burn then you might not need to disk it.
Burning helps everything really.
If your grass is too thick for the birds to even land in it I would try to open up some landing areas. They don't have to be too big because if you have food the birds will open up a large area. We use a roller chopper pulled behind the tractor. If the mud is too deep then we have used a Polaris Ranger. Just takes longer.
