I'm thinking seriously about trying to call some predators here in MN. I've pretty much settled on getting a FoxPro Wildfire 2. There are no jackrabbits where I'll be hunting, so the cottontail and snowshoe rabbit calls, make sense as basic calls. What should the Fox Bang feature be set to? There is a high population of Turkeys in the area. I'm thinking that the Turkey distress call might be a good alternative. Really; I just need some suggestions to get started. I'll probably start after Dec 14, when muzzle loader deer season ends, so I don't need to wear blaze orange. Legal targets are fox, coyote, bobcat and racoon. I'm most interested in coyote and bobcat.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

Here is a link the the digital archive of predator xtreme magazine. Tons of info in there. http://www.predatorxtreme-digital.com/#&pageSet=0&page=0&contentItem=undefined
I usually have my foxbang set to coyote kiyi or fox distress depending on where and what I'm hunting. If you set it to loud it will go off if it hits your rifle etc. mine usually stays on medium. Also don't be afraid to use jackrabbit and cottontail even if you've never seen them in your area, I've never seen a vole in my neck of the woods and I've called several critters in using it. Curiosity doesn't just kill cats smile
