Since my .204 ar hasn't sold , I'm swapping calibers to make it easier to move...
What caliber would u buy if u were in the market ?

Should I make it 6.8spc or 6.5 Grendel .... Or go back to the plain ol .223

It's not selling so you are spending more money on it with plans to sell it? I'd say lower the price and save the out-of-pocket money.
Of those 2, I'd go 6.5.

I'm betting that tannerlst is just trying to move the rifle not with a profit in mind, so that he can start another build. Just my guess.

Maybe Today.

Oh 6.8 is my choice. Will be hunting with the one I built this year.

If you want it to sell faster, go .223. Way way bigger market for it. But then you are stuck with a .204 upper. Just drop the price, and take a loss of you really want it to move.

6.8 and don't look back.

A real hunter never returns empty handed. Spending time in the wilderness temporarily satifies the soul, but leaves us longing for more.

6.8 or even 300 blackout both seem to move pretty quick

I wouldn't buy anything for a gun that I intended to sell.

If it's not selling, you should try another sales tack, maybe the online auction sites, or find a forum where .204 Ruger freaks hang out and offer it there.

You are unlikely to come out ahead by buying something for a gun that you intend to sell.

Print up a few "For sale" notes and post them on local bulletin boards. The grocery store, washateria, city hall, the police station, etc..

I'd try anything and everything that doesn't cost me a dime. First.

Selling the shilen barrel would easily pay for another barrel and bolt ... I think the complete rifle is selling tomorrow so my question is obsolete
