what do you recommend? I know Timney, and rifle basic are in that ballpark on price. And that's my budget. Going in my savage 111. I've heard more recommendations for the Timney, not as many for the rifle basix. Are there other brands worth looking at in that price range?

Ive only used Timney, would try something else if it was half the price.

I've only purchased Timney. Lots of guys say good things about Rifle Basic, though. Especially for Savage.

I have Timneys in my remaining Remington 700s. All smooth, light pull, dependable and issue free.

I have Rifle Basix in all my 700s, great trigger, even better customer service if there is an issue.
