Yes. They are great due to windshield, heater, a/c, the bed size and ride. They lack power for hills, some lack power in 4x4 in mud/rough terrain, if you are tall they can be a tight fit in/out, they do not get the good gas mileage that you think they will, parts can be hard to find, someone to work on one can be harder to find. We had 4x4 supercab, regular cab and double cab. The double cab was the nicest and easiest to get in and out of. All of them were automatic 4x4. A friend who had these sold his ranch and bought one in the Doss area of the Hill Country and used is 4 door 4x4. Promptly sold it due to lack of power to climb those hills.

My cousin, back in the muddy parts of eastern Louisiana, bought one after he found that his Bad Boy Buggy wasn't much use in heavy mud. He bought several of them, with each successive one being set up better than the last. The most recent one is the double cab, jacked up high so the Mud buildup will clear the fenders. Naturally 4wd. As for auto or std trans, I don't remember his preference. It'll go into serious mud and keep going.

I like mine. Fuel mileage is ok, it likes the high octane unleaded. As stated 4x4 is real good, I have a heater, windshield. I really like it to fill feeders, and haul out deer, pigs, etc. The side around the bed come down and it turns into a flatbed. That a cool feature
it is not the most comfortable rig, but it does it'sjob.

Had a Mitsubishi Mini for about 4 yrs. Never had a bit of trouble out of it but not comfortable and rough riding.

if you are looking for something with an enclosed cab check out the Kubota 1100 - more expensive I would guess than the mini trucks but they are pretty awesome machines. Had mine two years now and love it. Zero dust, AC/heather/defroster/windshield wipers/hydrolic bed. It is like driving in your truck cab - the heater is nice during deer season but the best is the AC when we are at the ranch in mid summer

Do what I did, I sold my mini truck and bought a small Toyota Tacoma. It won't get stuck like a Mini truck, more comfortable, Heat/AC and I can drive it to town. Plus not as rough riding and a lot more comfortable. 2cents

X2

We don't have rough terrain, worst we have is sand and some light mud when it rains for days on end. Im looking at little trucks.

Another vote for a Tacoma.. I have an SR5 2wd with a 4cly. 300k on it and still runs great... Even with being 2wd its great in all terrain use.. really handles the sand pits well

I've owned one for a few years now. There's pros and cons, but i havent had much trouble other than a rat chewing through some wiring. IMO, they do get good mileage. Pros: Heater, enclosed, 4x4, long bed, and reasonably priced compared to newer UTV's. Cons: no leg room, ride a little rough. There's plenty of power to get me and 3 others (passenger in the cab and 2 on the high rack) around our hill country lease and as far as parts go, i havent had any issues yet, but have only had to replace minor things like wiper blades, lights, air & oil filters, and tires.

They use these Tiger Trucks here at the plant. Seem to be a good work horse

I had one for a year and really liked it. I traded mine for a 95 Jeep and it was a good move. I think they are great machines but like others have said a tacoma, jeep or the like are better options

God is deep but he is not complicated.

I've ridden in one, never owned one. Seems like it would be easier to get parts for a Jeep or a small pickup.
