only hunt 1 weekend out of the entire deer season, what weekend would you hunt?

Depends on what part of the state, but it would correlate precisely with the peak of the rut for that part of the state.

I was just curious if most people would try and pick a weekend when they thought the rut would be going strong or later in the season when more numbers of deer are likely to be hitting feeders and food sources.

Part of me says Thanksgiving weekend because that's when I'll have a numerical advantage of putting meat in the freezer. The other part of me says the very last weekend (last day, actually) of the season because that's when I've usually taken my largest bucks.
