my buddy is hounding me to go duck hunting sunday morning and says he is seeing birds. Do I duck hunt or go to the deer lease and try to catch big papa chasing a doe? ughhhhh...I asked the deer forum, but I figured I would ask my brothers on the other side lol

Dont pass up the opportinity to put big pappa on tbe wall. Go deer hunting. Ducks will be there next time.

this is what my gut tells me to do

This is easy for me, I'd hunt ducks. Then again, I'm not a big deer hunter at all. When I do, I usually only hunt the evenings. Ducks are for the mornings.....always

Rut is going on so if you really want the best opportunity to see big papa you should be in the deer stand the next two weeks. We are going to duck hunt Saturday morning then drive straight to the deer lease for the rest of the weekend. We are at the point that we don't care what we see anymore but always love hunting the rut. We shoot spike and doe to fill our tags, but if old grand dad was to show up, he would probably get shot!

Ducks. Because they are evil and it's your patriotic duty to rid the earth of as many as possible. Deer are sweet and gentle. Be an American, stand up for the flag, your children and your children's children and for their future! The ducks must die!

Deer opener here tomorrow and this is the first time in 50 years I will not be going! I'm duck hunting in the dang snow!

Boy aren't we all blessed to have such choices.
