Just moved from northeast Texas to Kendall county. I have been looking for anyplace to hunt ducks around here. Anyone know of anything public or private lease with decent duck hunting around Kendall-Kerr-Gillespie-Blanco counties? This doesn't seem to be strong duck country, but I suspect there must be some action in the right places. I know the Texas coast can be good, but 3.5 hour drive is too much to do very often. Any info is much appreciated.

Get the tpwd outdoor annual app on your phone. You can pull up a map of public places to hunt. There's some in your area.
