it was so good that if you put it on top of your head your tongue would beat you to death trying to get to it. I bet if Jason Aldean had a song about duck breasts on dirt roads you'd like it. Somebody should open a duck plucking business, I would pay. I hate plucking ducks, but like cooking plucked ducks..

Wood ducks are worth plucking. Wax is cheap and the birds come out looking like they were store bought (no fuzz at all)

 No need for wax. Plucked these by hand and it probably took 3 of us 30 minutes to do 20 ducks. Ill be doing creole braised teal and spoonies tonight!

Your plucked ducks posted don't have fuzz, did you pluck that off? I'm sure there is a little you cant see. To get the fuzz off get your hand really dry and rub the skin of the duck with the grain of the feathers and that should take most of the fuzz off. I don't really remember the steps I take because it is just second nature. It is like trying to explain to someone in text how to ride a bike. Next time I pluck some ducks ill post the steps here.

Getting fuzz off was a pain to me every time I did it. I tried holding duck under water, you can see the fuzz great, but it was a beating. And tried burning it off, most effective. I guess rubbing it off is the trick.
